LaToy joined Siemens USA a year ago and plays a key role in developing and implementing initiatives that support Siemens USA’s overall DEIB philosophy. She leads internal programs and is responsible for project development through measuring program effectiveness for Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) and Diversity Councils.
LaToy serves as an integral part of the internal DEIB programming and external DEIB partner ecosystem for impact in the marketplace. She is a thought partner that helps build a world-class DEIB experience for all U.S. employees.
LaToy is a Certified Diversity Professional (CDP)® and on track to sit for the SHRM-CP certification exam in December 2024. She obtained a United Partnerships ERG Leadership Certificate and holds a BS in Business Administration in Accounting from Winthrop University. She understands the important of budgeting, DEIB, employee engagement and retention, and human resource management. She is committed to DEIB research and best practices, supporting the development initiatives for DEIB strategy and how that ties to the business, and embraces an inclusive and authentic work culture ensuring that all employees feel like they belong.
Prior to joining Siemens, LaToy held budget and project management roles with prominent companies in the Charlotte, NC market. She has over twenty-five years of budget, finance, and project management experience and most recently worked as a Budget and Finance Officer as well as a DEIB Team Lead for the City of Charlotte.
LaToy is a board member of the United Partnerships Advisory Board and the ERG Leadership Conference, a member of the Society of Human Resources Management (SHRM), a member of the National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE), Society of Women Engineers (SWE), a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., a NC Real Estate Broker, and she resides in North Carolina with her husband and two teenage boys.
