About the Conference

Employee Resource Groups

Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) are employee-led and employer-recognized groups that join together in the workplace based on shared characteristics, life experiences or interests. ERGs provide a space for underrepresented populations to have a voice and for people with shared interests or commonalities to obtain a greater sense of belonging within the larger group. Employee Resource Groups is a common title for workplace groups, but many organizations use a different title, such as Business Resource Groups, Team Member Networks, Diversity Councils and Inclusion Groups. ERG members are ambassadors of organizations, and together, they can uniformly share company values and exhibit shared behaviors that contribute to positive workplace cultures.

Conference

The ERG Leadership Conference connects ERG (employee resource group) members and leaders, ERG advisors, executive sponsors, business leaders, human resources and DEI professionals, and ERG experts to share and learn from established ERG authorities and one another. This year we begin the in-person-only attendance. Why? Because nothing compares to the energy, connections, and meaningful interactions that happen when we come together face-to-face. Join us to experience the power of collaboration like never before!

True to its name – ERG Leadership Conference – sessions incorporate professional development tools and leadership competencies needed to lead ERGs. Key conference learnings equip leaders with skills to help them elevate their leadership abilities, better connect with one another, successfully implement programs and initiatives, and contribute to healthy environments within their organizations and communities.

This year’s conference theme, THRIVE, highlights the power of growth, progress, and driving groups toward lasting success. Throughout the conference, we’ll explore valuable tools, strategies, and insights to help our groups thrive by fostering collaboration, building resilience, and driving impactful outcomes.

Introducing the same or similar ERG workshops! Throughout the day, participants will learn from speakers, attend breakout sessions, and interact with individuals from various organizations. This year, we’re excited to offer interactive workshops designed for participants from similar ERGs to engage in focused conversations, collaborate on shared goals, and build lasting relationships and partnerships. You will journey through the conference with these peers.

The conference incorporates time for conversations with one another to share ideas and create solutions. We encourage participants to connect after the conference to continue conversations and build collaborations.
