As a licensed and registered dietitian nutritionist, she seamlessly merges ancestral food traditions with modern science, fostering a holistic and culturally enriched approach to health and well-being. Her expertise in kidney health is complemented by her dedicated work addressing diabetes, cardiovascular disease, hypertension, as well as other chronic conditions. Joy seeks to utilize her knowledge and skills to further empower and uplift Native communities, fostering greater resilience and nutritional health.
