Jess Evans
Senior Diversity, Equity, Inclusion Specialist, Wolfspeedshe/her/hers
Jess Evans serves as the Senior Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Specialist at Wolfspeed. In this role, she works to build an environment where inclusivity is real and active rather than theoretical and static. Prior to joining Wolfspeed, Jess built a 14-year career in higher education holding positions at Virginia Tech, Duke University, and UNC Chapel Hill. She has extensive experience working with diverse students and staff through recruitment, training, community building, and crisis management.
Jess is an experienced people leader who believes in investing in relationships and empowering employees. She received a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Virginia Tech and a Master’s degree in Human Development from Radford University.
