Felicia J. Murrill is the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Program Manager for Corning Optical Communications (COC). In collaboration with Corning’s Global Diversity Office, she is responsible for the strategic direction and oversight of the DEI programs, processes, and policies of Corning’s largest sector. These efforts focus on the areas of attracting, developing, and supporting the employees and communities in which COC operates.
Felicia is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and has held several progressive Finance and Accounting roles within Corning, Ernst & Young, and the Central Intelligence Agency. Her audit and controllership experiences have included driving cost understanding, implementing strategic business processes, financial reporting, and forecasting. She leverages her business understanding and acumen to be a change agent and collaborative business partner to create a more inclusive culture that respects all aspects of diversity globally and increases a sense of belonging.
Felicia is an HBCU alum, graduating with her undergraduate degree from Clark Atlanta University. She is also a Harvard Business School alumni.
Felicia started her DEI journey serving in leadership roles for multiple employee resource and affinity groups. She continues to be actively involved within both her professional and personal community, serving her alumni association and other civic, social, non-profit, and professional organizations. In all facets, she aims to support efforts that create inclusion, equity, and overall quality of life for individuals and communities.
