Based in New York, Sue Yeoh is Director, Human Resources and Global Lead, DE&I Council, and Customer Solutions at Syneos Health. During her two-decade tenure at Syneos Health, she executed corporate communications brand strategy and executive visibility programs for Syneos Health and its healthcare communications network of leading agencies in branding, public relations, managed markets, and medical communications, known as Syneos Health Communications, as well as for Syneos Health’s C-suite.

Currently, Sue leads global engagement forums that recognize, connect, inform, and educate leaders, including strategic oversight of the company’s Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DE&I) Council, chaired by the CEO and CHRO. Established in 2020, the DE&I Council is laser-focused on helping the company better represent the diverse employees, customers, and communities it serves. In this capacity, Sue collaborates to lead strategic initiatives and develop thoughtful programming aligned with the company’s business priorities, including employee resource group alignment, engagement, promotion, and ERG cross-collaboration. In partnership with the Healthcare Businesswomen’s Association (HBA), Sue helped architect and provides global strategic oversight of the Syneos Health Rising Star and Luminary employee recognition program, a central part of the company’s commitment to DE&I. A corporate partner of HBA since 2001, the program annually recognizes and develops exceptional talent for their business impact and demonstration of our corporate values. Since its inception, 300+ leaders (including Sue, herself, as a Luminary in 2021) have participated in the program. Sue is also a leadership mentor for the HBA Ambassador leadership development programs at Syneos Health, developing 100+ rising talent in Argentina, Brazil, India, and Serbia. She is a founding member of the company’s global Asian Employee Resource Group representing the interests of ~500 Asian Americans-Pacific Islanders (AAPI) and other employees based in 13 of the 20 countries comprising the Asia-Pacific region.

 

Previously, Sue worked at a variety of leading corporate communications agencies after graduating from City University of New York Baruch College with a BBA degree in Marketing. Sue is a credentialed graduate of the McKinsey Leadership Academy Asian Manager Accelerator Program with a focus on problem-solving, business strategy, and business fundamentals.
