Isabel Rodriguez Lopez is a Senior Instructor Manager at General Assembly. After graduating with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Romance Languages and Literature from Carleton College in Minnesota, she participated as an AmeriCorps volunteer for a year in Illinois with a college access program. Isabel has experience teaching Spanish, youth development, facilitation, and professional development for adult learners. At General Assembly, she works to create diverse instructional teams that are representative of the students that participate. Additionally, she has been a co-leader for Latiné and Latinx ERGs, where she strives to create inclusive and welcoming communities for colleagues.

In addition to a Bachelor of Arts, she holds a Master of Education in Urban Education from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte and an advanced certificate in Antiracist Education. She currently lives in Chapel Hill, NC with her husband and her cat. Outside of work, Isabel enjoys traveling, spending time in coffee shops, and hiking with friends and family.
