Jasmyne Ormond Parsons is an education, inclusion, and impact leader, strategist, and advocate committed to expanding access and creating opportunities for others to thrive. A proud Raleigh, North Carolina native and Spelman College alumna, she holds a B.A. in English from Spelman College and a Master of Education in Literacy Education with a concentration in families, communities and culture from Georgia State University.

With a career spanning education, diversity, equity, inclusion, accessibility, community engagement, and organizational strategy, Jasmyne is passionate about building bridges between people and opportunity. Her work has included HBCU partnerships and recruitment, rural education engagement, accessibility, mentorship, employee resource groups, and initiatives designed to create more equitable pathways for individuals and communities.

Known as a thoughtful, strategic, compassionate, collaborative, and relationship-driven leader, Jasmyne believes deeply in the power of education, service, representation, and access. She is passionate about volunteering, mentoring, facilitating conversations, connecting people to opportunities, and using her voice and experience to help others see and reach their fullest potential.

Outside of her professional work, Jasmyne is a devoted wife and mom who loves spending time with her family, traveling, discovering new places and cultures, and relaxing on the beach. An avid traveler, Iceland is her favorite international destination so far and Montana her favorite state she’s visited. At her core, Jasmyne is an educator, connector, advocate, mentor, and opportunity-maker who believes in opening doors, building bridges, and helping others learn, lead, belong, and thrive.
