Tamara Terry is the Founder & CEO of FDW Strategic Solutions. She is a seasoned Engagement Executive, Principal Strategist, and research scientist with 25 years of experience driving transformational strategy across life sciences, higher education, and the nonprofit sector. Her work sits at the intersection of inclusive leadership, evidence-based research, and organizational strategy—bringing clarity, direction, and purpose to high-impact environments.
Tamara is known for cultivating mission-driven partnerships and leading cross-functional teams with care, integrity, and intent. As a proud North Carolina Central University alumna, she pioneered an inaugural strategic partnership with NCCU and co-founded a national framework to engage HBCUs in mutually beneficial collaborations with industry leaders. Her leadership has helped institutions navigate complex challenges through scalable solutions and human-centered growth.
With deep expertise in client and account management, workforce development, and performance optimization, Tamara also brings a rich background in survey research, project management, and training design. She has led and supported large-scale education, health, and social science research initiatives, guiding teams through proposal development, study design, and implementation.
